Overview
This Privacy Policy explains what information the eXp Culture Center app ("the App") and this website collect, how it's used, and who it's shared with. Both are operated by Marti Hampton Real Estate for members of, and people interested in, the eXp Realty Culture Center in Raleigh, NC.
Information We Collect
App account info: your email address, name, phone number, and profile photo (all provided by you). App activity info: event RSVPs, space booking requests, chat messages and direct messages (including any photos you share), and your membership status. App device info: a push notification token used to deliver notifications to your device, and a simple on/off preference for biometric app-lock (stored securely on your device — your actual Face ID or fingerprint data never leaves your device and is never sent to us). Website info: if you submit the "Get Involved" form, we collect your name, email, phone number (if provided), and any message you include.
How We Use Your Information
We use this information solely to operate the App and respond to website inquiries: coordinating events, managing space bookings, enabling internal communication, administering membership status, and following up with people interested in the Culture Center. We don't sell your information or use it for advertising.
Who We Share It With
We use a small number of service providers to run the App and this website: Supabase (our database, authentication, and file storage provider), Resend (to send email notifications to administrators about new RSVPs, bookings, and website inquiries), and Apple/Google's push notification services (to deliver push notifications to your device). These providers only receive what's necessary to perform their function and don't use your data for their own purposes.
Other Members Can See
Depending on the feature, other members may see your name, photo, chat messages, and (for space bookings) the space, time, and title of your reservation. Administrators can additionally see attendee lists for events, full booking details, and website inquiry submissions.
Data Security
We use industry-standard practices to protect your information, including encrypted connections, database access controls, and secure on-device storage for sensitive preferences like biometric lock settings.
Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active, or as long as needed to follow up on a website inquiry. If you'd like your information removed, contact us using the info below.
Children's Privacy
The App and this website are intended for eXp Realty agents, affiliated team members, and prospective agents, and are not directed at children. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll update the "last updated" date above whenever changes are made, and continued use of the App or this website after an update means you accept the revised policy.
